Yi-Mei Truxes, Gray Reinhard – The New York Times

Yi-Mei Truxes and Gray Allen Reinhard were married Aug. 31 at Hayfield, an events space in Maplecrest, N.Y. Clinton Curtis, a friend of the couple who became a Universal Life minister for the event, officiated.

Mrs. Reinhard, 33, is the founder of Bembien, an accessories brand in New York. She was previously a marketing director at Vogue magazine in New York. She graduated from Colgate.

She is the daughter of An-Ming Truxes and Thomas M. Truxes of Westbrook, Conn. The bride’s father is a clinical professor of Irish studies and history at N.Y.U. Her mother, who is retired, was the arts division director at the Commission on Culture and Tourism in Hartford.

Mr. Reinhard, 35, is the chief technology officer at Dwell Optimal, a real estate technology company in New York. He graduated from Princeton.

He is a son of Cynthia H. Reinhard and Dr. Thomas W. Reinhard of Morristown, N.J. The groom’s mother is a retired lawyer. His father is a dentist at Reinhard Dentistry in Whippany, N.J. The groom’s grandfather Doc Severinsen, who lives in Knoxville, Tenn., is a world-renowned trumpet player; he was the band leader on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson.

The couple met in 2005 at Princeton, where the bride’s brother was a roommate of the groom. They began dating in 2009.
